Morari Bapu, world renowned spiritual leader, will host a 9 day ‘Katha’ discourse in London, England. The event, to be held from 12th-20th August, 2017 at Wembley Arena, is expected to attract over 10,000 British and international listeners. It will also be broadcast and streamed live so that Bapu’s universal mantra of Truth, Love and Compassion connects with a global audience of more than 100 million people.
In a Britain more divided than ever, Morari Bapu’s universal tenets are spreading a much needed message - especially to young people who connect with a balanced, modern message free from traditional gender and other stereotypes or religious divides.
The Ramayana, the Hindu epic, forms the basis of Bapu’s ‘Katha’ recital, from which he draws examples, applying them to modern life encouraging his listeners to be open-minded and open-hearted. As well as the Ramayana, Bapu draws on teachings and wisdom of other religious texts including those from Christianity, quoting Islamic poets, delving into the life of Buddha and quoting from Socrates, Plato and other great thinkers.
